Fulham fans and 20 grand

Fulham Football Club has today announced that its fans have been awarded the F.A Premier League Behaviour of the Public Award for season 2005/2006.

The tables are compiled throughout the season from marks awarded by The F.A Premier League Delegates who attend each match and assess the fans' conduct throughout the game.

A ?20,000 award is presented each season to the club whose supporters are deemed to be the best behaved and the Club will celebrate the award at a fixture at the beginning of the season. The funds will be used to support a community related initiative, details of which are yet to be confirmed.

Mohamed Al Fayed, Chairman of Fulham Football Club said:

'I am delighted that Fulham fans have received some recognition for their impeccable behaviour throughout the season. I have often said that our fans our second to none and this award reaffirms my complete admiration of them as a group of individuals that represent their Club magnificently'.

Sh!t, I didn't know that we got 20G's for this honor...I'll take it...

 

Anyone remember earlier in the season, CC complaining the fans weren't passionate enough?

Too bad there's not an award for the weirdest/most interesting official MB and-or Content!

Speaking of which I am putting in for my pass to watch the Crew/Fulham practice game on Wednesday before the All-Star match...

It is closed which only means:

1. I can go, as can Jux - perhaps, and you all cant. So there!

2. I may get to meet the players. wondering IF I should wear my "handle" on my replica shirt

I know SOME players would recognize me, then, but a certain Polish CrewAsst placekicking Coach would want to kick my arse... and if CC reads the boards, he might hold me down, whilst...

Yes I will be there My wife and I are Black Level CSN members. We used our IDs to purchase two tickets to the game for some friends, so I think that will count towards admission to the match. We still plan on purchasing our personal tickets through ChicagoTom so that we can sit with everyone from FulhamUSA.

BTW, putting your "handle" on your kit is a great idea! I don't know how often Robert cruises the Matchnight forums though...
