Last game

I had a dream last night that Fulham beat Norwich 3 - 1. When there were 12 games left and it looked like we were in a relegation dog fight i sat down and tried for fun to work out how mant points i thought Fulham would land up with, my conclusion was 44, if we win tomorrow i will be right, i will however admit to being totally wrong on most of the games. Tomorrow will be a very hard game for everyone concerned, some players know they will not be playing for the same team next year, and for the Norwich players not even in the same division if they lose, it probably will go one of two ways, it will be a classic with both teams playing for the win because Fulham have nothing to lose and Norwich know exactly what they need to do, or it will be so bad because both teams dont want to lose, i hope my first scenario wins out. As for who goes down I do not really care, if Southampton stay up they will be a dangerous opponent next season, and so will WBA, Palace and Norwich are like us small fish playing in the big ocean, so i suppose I would like either Palace or Norwich to stay up. Anyway i am off to watch England Play the US at soldier field on Memorial day weekend, and being English living in America with an American wife from Chicago it will be a great day no matter what, and i will get I hope to see Mcbride play in person again.

 

I originally hoped we would get a draw and Norwich would somehow stay up, because I would feel bad sending them down. However, after all the negative news coverage back home, I hope we give them a good stuffing and I will dance a jig as I watch tears streaming down their eyes as the final whistle blows and they finally realize the premiership dream is over.
