We are gonna have to reel them back in again. Robben is causing Volzy fits on the left wing. 2-1 Chelsea. We can still do it! The players are still pushing.

PLFulham -- I watched the game. THey tried hard but it's hard to beat all fo that money. They played well and on a normal game (against anybody but the top 3) I think they would have won.

Well, we lost 3-1, but I am proud of the effort and hard work we put in this match. I like the way we tried to take it to them and give them a run. In the end, they were too strong in the second half.

However, even down 3-1, we did not give up and that is something that makes me happy. We did not look like a relegation threatened team today at all. I think if we build on this match, we can get a result against Everton next weekend at the Cottage.

Last, but not least, the combination of Collins John and Brian McBride worked well for me today. I liked that pairing and would like to see it the rest of the season.

I think there were also some referee decisions that were missed. The opne that sticks out if the one where one ofour players nearly had his leg taken off Jirosik. When you you can clearly har the players stubs making contact with the opponents shin guards it is clearly at the very least be a foul if not a card.

    I'm fairly satisfied.

First half it was all up the left for us, and we were creating dangerous chances, Boa looked very good. But then recall him pulling up as if he's tweaked something?

From that point Radz got more of the ball and it went up the right instead ... that is until about the last 15 minutes... I think Boa has a twinge.

Goals are results of chances which usually come from mistakes and this was a high-light reel to illustrate that.
Volz got victimized but against a lesser side might have got away with it, but that foof set up a goal, there's no doubt.

CJ's goal was from defender complacency more than a mistake.

But the most glaring in my mind -How many times have we seen a blatant foul behind the ref's eyes and a goal scored in the immediate run of play!!!... this apparently freezes the victim's team mates while waiting for some phantom call that wont come... and looking back, I have to think it was a tactic, not random.

All in all I was very pleased with the team's play...I dont get to watch much, but this was the overall best effort I've seen this season, win or lose. And nothiing for the team to hang their heads over

I think McBride and JOhn should be given more run outs they seen to be working well together. Radz works really well with McBride.

I thought Radzinksi was solid today. I hope he continues to play in the stating XI even if it means the ineffective Steed Malbranque is on the bench. The team we have on the pitch to start matches the last two games is the direction I want to see Cookie go with the team over the last few matches.

The fact of the matter is that the team playing now for Fulham is playing with a sense of urgency. Whether it be something Cookie said or the fact that quite a few of them are pissed about their lack of playing time earlier this season, something has worked to get the lads playing at a higher level for 90 minutes.

It was a nice effort and the lads were in it for a while. The result was about what I expected. Arjen Robben is unbelievable. That guy is everywhere. He makes something happen every time he touches the ball.

I think the game pointed out that Radz, John, McBride and Boa make for a pretty solid offense.

If there was a little stronger center mid, I dont think we'd have much problem getting safe.
