For all you new Fulham fans, welcome to the wonderful time of relegation dogfights, for all those optimistic fans out there this is relegation season, and Fulham is truly part of it. One week you are elated, the next week you are in despair, we put Pompey behind us last week, and now they sit in front of us. looking at games and saying we should get points here and there, and looking at other teams fixtures left and saying well they should not get anything there, does not work all the time, as yesterday well proves, with Norwich getting the most unlikely of results. If you are niave enough to think they are well and truly buried, you should take a look at the record books, there was a team so far adrift at the bottom one year, they looked doomed, everyone was counting them out, and especially when they come against the great Liverpool who were as clear at the top as they were at the bottom, but in an unbelievable game they beat the great team 2 - 0 and that gave then such momentum they survived that season to play again the next year in the top division, and the team why Fulham of course. The next few weeks are going to be the most nervous for Fulham fans in the last few seasons.

No team is dead and buried quite yet. Norwich City's result yesterday was simply astonishing. Fulham is in the relegation battle, but, if we continue to play an attacking 4-4-2 style formation, I think we will get enough positive results in the last month to stay out of trouble.

I am optimistic in thinking we will not get dragged into the relegation mess further. Manchester City is coming to the Cottage and Fulham will need to be on top of their game as they were in the second half against Pompey. We have the home crowd advantage with the SUC and other loud fans around the Cottage. I hope we do get the needed result next weekend.

Let's hope we get it done soon. The lads need to wrap this up quickly. The whole year Cookie's talked about how "nervy" they've been playing. If we go into the last few fixtures of the season (newcastle, rovers, canaries) needing the points, it's going to get worse, and that will make it "stomach-churning" for us all.
