in new york city that might be showing the england v northern ireland
game this saturday?

Mike or one of the other New Yorkers would be able to better answer this, but I am assuming places like Nevada Smith's will show this match. Check out the FulhamUSA pub guide for some other places as well. Chances are since this will be shown via Setanta, there will be a $20 cover.

The match will be shown live at Nevada Smiths (10am in NYC). Check out their website at www.nevadasmiths.net for more information. I don't know if they will have a cover charge, but I would expect a bit of a crowd.

If they do not consider yourself lucky. I think Setanta can fine pubs in excess of $10,000 for not charging people. I got that info from the pub I go to and there is info like that on the Setanta site as well. While it is nice that Setanta shows the matches, it blows they charge so much.

Here's another place that should be showing the match: Baker St. Pub. Their website is: www.bakerstreetnyc.com. I personally like it better than Nevada's, as they have a full kitchen, and the food is pretty good.

It does stink that they have to have a cover charge, especially since they've got you in a bind, what with no place other than the bars to see the match.
