If you have not seen the show Arrested Development, Sunday nights on Fox at 8:30PM EST/7:30PM CST you need to do so. It is the best show on television right now.

For those of you who have seen the show and enjoy it as I do, Fox just cut back the number of shows in production from 22 to 18 to make way for yet another cartoon, American Dad, starting in May. While Fox insists that Arrested Development is not going to be cancelled, there are rumours swirling that it might be true. The ratings are not that great unfortunately.

With all of this being said, there is a website you can visit with a petition to save the show. You can simply enter your name and email address which automatically sends an email to some Fox big whigs to keep the show on the air. The site is as follows:

The problem with arrested development is that you need to watch on a pretty consistent basis to really understand all the humor. You cant really just start watching it and really get it. That unfortunately hurts it in that it gets a lot of publicity but is difficult to attract new viewers.

Also I think American Dad is a cartoon by Seth McFarlane the guy who did Family Guy, something i'd like to see, but not at the expense of one of Fox's only watchable shows

Johnny, you are right about needing to watch all the shows to know what is going on, but sometimes just watching Tobias and G.O.B. makes you laugh without even knowing what is going on.

I am not sure about American Dad. I saw the first episode the night of the Super Bowl and I did not think it was all that great. There is only one Family Guy! I hope it is good, but it would be nice to put it on a weekday night or something. Replace American Idol for a night or forever for that matter!

I watch Arrested development every once in a while, i appreciate the humor, but i really don't watch any TV on a weekly basis, besides 24 really. so i miss it a lot.

the one guy wanted to be in blue man group and left little blue streaks all over the house, i thought that was pretty funny.

Also the one son got his hand bitten off by a dolphin and the doctor said. You're son's gonna be all right, his left hand was bitten off so he'll be all right form now on

    haha

I got the First Season DVD for my girlfriend's brother for Christmas and we watch it quite often. Laugh after laugh is that show.

The storylines are bizarre and funny! Johnny, I do not watch much TV outside of Fox Soccer Channel, but this is a must see for me.

I have never seen 24. I know some who swear by it, but I have never found much of an interest in it.

Amen to that CT.... I never watch the Shield either.... or Dallas... oh...

I watched one episode of AD and found it mildly enjoyable which is a giant step beyond most TV for me.

I watch PTI.... Jeopardy..... and scrambled porn.

    Thats all....

    I'll vote, for you TOM.

Thanks Joe! I also must mention that I do watch PTI and.....Around the Horn! By the way, I would love to see Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless back on PTI! Those two were great when subing for Tony and Wilbon during the Olympics last summer!

Johnny, you are killing me! Stephen A is the man! I just love the way he presents his stories. I can see why he can be hated by some with the way he does things, but I love listening to him. It makes me laugh. Similar to the way I love listening to Bill Walton cover NBA games. He is great!
