Hello, everyone! I am a Fulham fan from Atlanta. I have been following the EPL for a few years and kind of adopted Fulham as my team this season. A few months ago, some friends and I decided to take a trip to London and see a football match while we were there. We chose Fulham because they were at home that weekend and it was easy to buy tickets online. We were at the Cottage for the West Brom match in January. We had a great time, and Papa headed in the game winner right in front of us.

It was my first EPL match and I had a blast. It wasn't the world's greatest display of football, but at least the good guys won. I was surprised at the police presence at the Cottage. It was like they were expecting a full-on riot. The President doesn't even have that kind of security! And the beer was a disappointment. After drinking the greats bitters and ales in the pubs all over London, and we visited a lot of them, a Carlsberg in a plastic bottle was a let down. But those are minor complaints about an otherwise great afternoon of football.

I am pretty much hooked on football at this point. There's no hockey this year, so I need something to fill the void!

Welcome to FulhamUSA!! Sounds like a great experience you had at the Cottage. I will be taking my first trip to the Cottage for the Charlton match on March 5th. I can't wait. There are four of us from FulhamUSA going.

Per chance do you have any pictures from your trip?

 

The Charlton match should be a good one. You guys will have a blast. I do have a few pictures from the trip. Is there some way to post them on here?

Great Stuff Martin. And you are not the only FFC fan in Atlanta, believe it or not!! I have been to 3 Fulham matches but my only one at Craven Cottage was last October vs. Liverpool.
