According to CNN, the United States has been aware of North Korea developing nuclear weapons since the 1990s. Condi is downplaying North Korea's statements.
Do you honestly believe she can negotiate with any delegate from North Korea.

I doubt it. I think the main reason the Palestine/Israel thing happened is because of the change in leaders, not necessarily any special thing she did.

Where is Pettyfog? I need to see what he thinks.

and we're all fools for not reading blogs and reading both sides of the stories

No... I only blame Clinton -INDIRECTLY- for letting JIMMY CARTER do it.

Clinton WAS handling it right before Jimmy went there on one of his famous "negotiation" deals and told IL that there was no way the US would attack NK. After Clinton told him NOT TO make ANY pledges or promises..

And if you read up, they didnt ever STOP development... when they couldn't hide it any longer, they kicked out the IAEA inspectors and went for broke.

It's extortion, pure and simple. BTW, this isnt news.. this is just the first time they've admitted it. We who follow the news closely have known it for well over a year.

And I dont have to say ANYTHING about the UN.. what comes out about them says enough.

I am actually getting worried that the UN is crippling it's future. The UN is needed, hopefully they will start policing themselves a lot better.

 

I dont see the big deal... honestly, who cares, they only stated it publicly for attention and the reason the media brought it out again is to scare the public into blind support of the Admin.... you think CONDIE can help if COLIN couldnt??

The fucking media... ugh. Anyways. We should stay focused on IRAN... who still claims innocence in wanting to be moderinized like rest of the world, but since they arent a jewish/christian country they have to hire (enslave) poor people to ride 10-speeds attached to small generators to run their TV network.
