ESSENTIAL PS2 GAMES?

I am buying a PS2. What are essential games I should buy?

Some friends are lending me some games, but I wanted to see if there are some "must purchases".

I am a fan of most an EA Sports game. FIFA 2005, College Football 2004, NBA Live, etc. I also like Tiger Woods golf. I do not have any RPG games, just sports games.

 

It depends on what you like... Tiger Woods 2004 is great.

I got a Game cube only so I can play the Resident Evil games.... OH I LOVE THOSE ZOMBIE THRILLERS SO

 

i'd second the tiger woods thing. You said you've got GTA in the other thread.

don't buy any new games. Games come out all the time, half of them are shitty. The ones that are good will wait a few months til people stop buying them, then they'll drop the price to $20 and it will be a "PS2 Greatest Hit". Buy any of those that interest you.

 

OK I will look for the Greatest Hit. Yeah all I have so far is GTA Vice City.

Johnny you gotta get tha bad boy fixed. Do you play it much? I would be scrwed without mine. Not because I play it all the time, but I use it for my DVD player as well.

I just got the little one for christmas. I've honestly never played much video games outside of the old 8 bit nintendo.

I've played it a lot since christmas, i'd rather play golf or GTA than watch the crap on tv
