A bit of a more challenging match than the one against Villa but if we can sort some of our issues out, I can see us coming away with points!

This is quite a challenge, but Fulham is quickly developing a reputation as a team that is tough to beat. Liverpool got smoked just two weeks ago against lowly Southampton. I think if we come with our A game, we could get a draw and possibly a win.

What formation do you think will be played? Who do you want to see in the starting XI??

LFC are a tough team to beat. Plus you never know what team is gonna play. Are they gonna be the team that should be in the CL? Or are they the team that play like a Championship club?If Moreintes starts to score goals this team could beat any team in Europe.Fulham need to go into this match like they want to win. Fulham could get a win but, a draw would be great because its on the road.Cole needs to sit a match on the bench. LFC's Central defense is slow and if John and Radz was the forwards Fulham can run all over the field. If Jensen can start then let him start. If Goma can start then he should start.

    Away to Liverpool - Anfield!
Boosted by Morientes, Gerrard hungry for a CL spot. Gonna be tough.
However, we are due for a good game beginning to end.

My sister is a Liverpool supporter...I took her up there to watch Fulham play in the Carling Cup and she went and sat in the Kop!! We lost 3-1 but I did get to see one of Fulham's greatest goals from Pesch.

PS Am I still a bloody junior?

I think we should definately 4-5-1 it, relying completely on a stoppage-time goal to either equalize or win :)

I think we can l'pool. If we can manage to show up from kick off instead of from the middle of the first half we are in with a very good cahnce. 8)

liverpool can be beat- i'll be surprised if we don't rise up & play a great game. looking for a point minimum. liverpools defense didn't look great in their last game... i see a tie- & if we get the chance maybe steal a win.

Oh the horror... I know you're just throwing in the sarcasm to get our goats today...

I have realized how much the 4-5-1 sucks lately... I started a career as FFC on FIFA 2004 and even the attack midfielders on the wing never get far enough forward into the corners to develop any kind of attack... it's just poor lonely Cole (who, of course, I had to go buy on the transfer market due to the timing of the game) to go it alone...

4-4-2 all the way!!!! And none of this heart-attack last minute crap anymore either... score early... score often... They'll have to, especially if Morientes starts lighting it up...

Well this is without a doubt Fulhams toughest test in the new year, we play a liverpool team that is surely ready to stuff someone, they have been underachieving for to long and are due to come out of it. The euphoria we seem to be in the middle of seems to dismiss the reality of our unbeaten run, we beat C palace, we drew with Watford, we beat WBA, we beat Watford, we beat Birmingham, we drew with Derby, we drew with A Villa, we drew with Southampton. Every one of those teams was either below us or only at the most three points above us, Villa were outclassed by Sheff Utd, we scrapped a point at home, the games I have seen us play are Southampton, WBA and derby last week, even though i am Fulham thru and thru we were awful in every one of those games, and CC knows it himself, we have been very lucky in all of these games, we have played bad and still got a result. Tomorrow we will lose, we will be outplayed and outclassed i just hope we dont get stuffed.

Sorry AtlantaJohn, I disagree. Yes, we have achieved the unbeaten run in 2005 against the lower end of the table. However, as you have stated: "we have played bad and still got a result".
You are suggesting the recent run of poor play will continue. I believe that Cookie will have the lads up for this one, and win, lose or draw, their play will not disappoint.

    RE: Liverpool

For some reason, Fulham plays really well against good teams. I mean they played well against Arsenal the first time out and lost, played well against Chelsea in the Carling Cup and lost, played well against Manchester United and drew, and actually, they played quite well for the first half against Liverpool the first time these two teams played.

I think Fulham will come out strong. Yes, we have not played extremely well as of late, but we have grinded out draws and victories and most importantly, we have not lost. That is important for the mindset and confidence of this club and its' fans.

On a side note, I have never heard the word "stuffed" use when describing losing in a bad way. If you do not mind Atlanta John I might steal that word and implement it into my vocabulary. I laughed when I read it! I am a big fan.

I think it will be challenging and I agree that Fulham plays well against the upper table clubs. Perhaps they can motivated for those matches. If Edwin keeps making saves like he did against Villa, a victory is certanly possible.

    Against Liverpool today

Lets just think POSITIVE,Liverpool are not the Liverpool of old and yes we can win today, IF we take the game to them. If we sit back and try for the draw they will beat us. Any team that thinks they can play for a draw at Anfield my regret it.
Fulham need to take a lot more chances in front of Goal and hopefully we can today!...

    Let's get behind this team!....

    GOYW's.....
