I saw those two at the House of Blues in what they called, the "America's Most Blunted" Tour. Good times were had by all at that one!

ok- time & memory has faded things some- & think some of the best ones dimmed by too much drink to the point can't remember enough to put them down... dating myself here i know...

Dead Kennedys,Flipper @ the Whisky spring 1981- - flipper hurt me - then the dead kennedys just blew me away.

Elton John- dodger stadium 1975- went with friend & his older brother- thought it was funny that i kept getting joints passed to me(just a kid) but i had even more resolve than former president clinton- i passed them down the row without a puff- great show- played for hours...

Go Go's & circle jerks at the starwood-(time? early 80's) was funny to see go-go's later when they hit it big get all respectable- belinda carlisle was fat & had a shaved head on this night...

Adolescents, Bad Religion, TSOL & Godhead(think others but can't remember)... high school connection with tsol & godhead & used that to weasel backstage- got fuzzy after members from godhead started pouring the drambuie..

loved all the english ska stuff, english punk & new wave- madness was a favorite on vinyl- & put on a good show, bad manners put on a great show, the english beat was good, the dammed- good, the clash-great show, had girlfriend who loved bands like the smiths, the cure , frankie goes to hollywood ect..- think i liked the cure best of the girlfriend shows...

the dickies were always a super fun show- black flag was sometimes amazing. - probably the biggest list of names i saw at once was 1982 US festival.... (had to check web site to rember all who played that day)- had gang of 4, the ramones, english beat, oingo boingo, b52's, the talking heads, the police- clearest memory from that day was in the 100+ heat- the ramones came out in full leather & went full tilt for what had to be well over a hour or so..

    Nice one Madrat...

How could I forget one of my most memorable concert experiences of all time:

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones @ Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. March of 1999.

the mighty bosstones- sounds like a great time!! i've kinda fallen behind the times past 10 yrs or so. but a friend who is more up to date musically has some bosstones & they are worthy!...

oh- didn't see nirvana- but their music was great & would have loved to see them. ray charles used to play every year or so at a little club down the road from my house - meant every time to see him & always for some reason didn't go--- wish i had.
