    How about Exeter drawing with Manchester United today. I know they played mostly backups, but they still should have been able to pull that one out. Just goes to show that Sir Alex's young'ens are not that great.

    That is true, Ferguson's evaluation and acquistion of talent the last several seasons has been questionable. And he still really does not have solid replacements for any of his older stars. Like Roy Keane as a prime example, and at some point in the not too distant future, Ryan Giggs as well.

    I think it's about time red nose slipped up big - I think his arrogance has got the better of him.

    I wonder how long it will be before Moaninho does the same? :D

    Not so much the slippage of managerial talents by SAF... as the aggregate of overpaid superstars leads to general under-performance {New York Yankees}

    Well managed Lean and Mean beats bloated Juggernaut.

    Focus, focus, focus!!!!!!

    I think too a lot can be said about team chemistry. The Yankees seem to have none even though they have numerous future Hall of Famers throughout their lineup.

    ManU is getting old, and though they have the revenue to spend on players, it seems they are not getting any good midfielders to repalce theiur aging superstars.

    Much like the NYY core of championship players retired or have declined (O'Neill, Williams, et. al) ManU has Keane, Scholes, and Giggs all getting older. And when a team does not repalce them they are in trouble. I also remember back in the 80's the Boston Celtics refused to trade Bird, Parish, McHale and kept the aging superstars on the team. In sports you need to stay young.

    I find it humorous that mighty Liverpool crashed out of the FA Cup today against little Burnley. I do not care who was on the pitch for Liverpool, you do not lose to Burnley. There was no Gerrard or Morientes, but there was Hyppia, Dudek, Sinama Pongolle, Baros and Mellor on the pitch. Definitely there were enough quality players to beat Burnley. All in all, funny stuff.

    Well it does happen sometimes. Liverpool is a good side, though they do have patches of inconsistency. Hyppia seems to not have the form of last season in my opinion.
