Before the derby w/QPHa the team travels to Denmark midweek. The Sunday match is hugely important for multiple reasons so hoping to see a lineup similar to the CC match put out there. Really enjoyed watching Frei, Briggs, Gecov, etc. play the Scum and think they can get a result in Odense. COYW!!

I need a win as badly as the boys do. I'd be lying if I said I knew much about Odense, so I'm not going to break down their team and tactics. I just want a win.

BTW, am I correct in my math? I have the match kicking off at 1:00 pm Eastern. Is that correct?

I've seen the same time for kickoff as well. I thought it was supposed to be later, but must admit, I'm ok with an earlier kickoff.

The kids are home from school tomorrow so I have to be home and can watch the match. Thank you Jewish god.

I plan to check out the new chatroom; hope some other FUSAers will join me like the old days.

Btw, Heather has included video stream links on this site for convenient access to free online FFC match streams. Thank you again Heather.

Can Ruiz play in this game? I thought he wasnt eligible for Europa games but I read a preview article projecting him to start

Not eligible because of being in Twente's group, but I think if the team advances he can play (not 100% sure on that one though).
    The team for the game;

    Mark
    Briggs, Hangs, Senderos, Kelly
    Kasami, Danny, Dickson, Duff
    Demps, AJ

    Subs:
Etheridge, Baird, Riise, Grygera, Sidwell, Frei, Sa

Yeah baby! A result! 3 points! Happy Days Are Here Again!
AJ was, indeed, ready Herr Jol!
Now let's do in the Rangers!

Not the smoothest of performances (Senderos looked like he was ice skating half the time), but in the grand scheme who cares? AJ with a brace (the 2nd was a beauty), a fun plane ride home, and then turn the page and get ready for the BIG one on Sunday.

Happy for AJ on the goals, the second one was particularly nice.

Senderos makes a few too many mistakes doesnt he? That's why H&H needs to remain intact in the middle. With the way Senderos was getting forward today I seriously dont see why Jol didnt try him at RB instead of Hughes.

Good result though. Enjoyed first half much more than second.

I mentioned this elsewhere, but AJ is looking like this Europa run's Zoltan Gera. He looks dangerous in Europe but can't buy a goal in the Prem.

Just watched the replays a little more clossely. Whatever his sins on defense were, that was a beautiful ball from Senderos to AJ for his second goal. We could use a LOT or of those in England.
