If Khan is serious about challenging for promotion it can't be all kids. Sidders has gone through the wars and would be invaluable in the locker room. That said, it would be up to him as the player to want to stay and Khan be willing to pay the wages that will be needed.

Sidwell should come to MLS. He is a player perfectly capable of playing in the premier league but he'll never get the respect he deserves. He was getting there but now that Fulham has been relegated all of what he did this season will count for naught. He could bring a lot to MLS both in the locker room and in training. But I think MLS has probably grown too big for its britches to see this.

Losing Sidwell is the start to ruining my optimism. Possibly the only player who never gave up. oh well.

With all due respect to Steve, the fact that he was our best player this year says more about our team than it does about him. I'd like to see him stick around, but I don't think our future is dependent on it. If he wants to stay in the Premier League, I would wish him well with my thanks and not lose much sleep over it.

Man, this club will look very different next year. We expected that, but the reality is creeping in.

    Karagounis and Diarra were popular?

Most of those were to be expected. I guess the rumor was true... JAR will never score a goal for Fulham.

After that news from Fullham about all those with expired contracts I had to put this together to see who's left (please highlight any errors)

Players Under Contract (and the year until it expires)
    2015 Brede Hangeland
    2015 Pajtim Kasami
    2015 Alexander Kačaniklić
    2015 David Stockdale
    2015 Kieran Richardson
    2015 Hugo Rodallega
    2015 Elsad Zverotić
    2015 Ashkan Dejagah
    2015 Dan Burn
    2015 Moussa Dembélé
    2015 Marcello Trotta
    2016 Cauley Woodrow
    2016 Sascha Riether
    2016 Scott Parker
    2016 Buomesca Tue Na Bangna
    2017 Maarten Stekelenburg
    2017 Ryan Tunnicliffe
    2017 Larnell Cole
    2017 Chris David
    2017 Fernando Amorebieta
    2018 Konstantinos Mitroglou
    ? Bryan Ruiz

William Kvist was on loan with an option for Fulham to sign. He was not mentioned in today's post of players who are leaving.

Of course it remains to be seen who on the list above won't be coming back either.

From London24, a positive spin on the coming changes and relegation - a chance to clean house and get a team that works. http://www.london24.com/sport/football/ ... _1_3617062

As for those who might not join us next year:
but hopefully one of those is not Patrick Roberts

And Sidwell bid farewell yesterday on twitter, at least left on better terms than Hangeland--so we have that going for us I guess.

Another signing - Australian International striker Adam Taggart. He started against Spain yesterday, but the only #9 I can find in the highlights belongs to Torres. From the BBC: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27995389
