Duff out for season

    So, umm, who is going to play Saturday? No Duff, Metroglue, Amorebieta, Parker, and Kvist? :angry-banghead:

    I know you do, sweetie, but he's a shadow of himself now.

    The only good news from the injury front is that Amorebieta is still unable to play -- by injury, not by talent. He's been the latter all season.

    Eh, I'm fairly happy Scott Parker won't play so we won't have to deal with the Sidwell-Parker axis again and wonder where the F our midfield is

    Duffer had a huge chip on his shoulder after he was one of the main scapegoats in Newcastle's relegation, and Fulham was the beneficiary. Great servant to the club, and a model professional. Should of been let go after last season, but will only think of him as someone who was all about the badge and had a touch of class on his best days.

    I've got a ton of respect for Duffers...he's a consummate pro.

    But a 35-year-old with a bum knee? I would think MLS is past the point of bringing in a player like that.
