    An NASL thread for those who follow the de facto 2nd Tier of US Soccer. A couple clubs start their inaugural campaign tonight with Indianapolis playing their home opener against Carolina.

    Week 1:
    Saturday 4/12
    7:30 ET Fort Lauderdale v Ottawa
    7:30 ET Indianapolis v Carolina
    7:30 ET Tampa Bay v FC Edmonton
    8:30 ET San Antonio v Minnesota
    Sunday 4/13
    5:00 ET New York v Atlanta

    The Scorpions -- and by the way, the local "name the team contest" highest vote getter was Alamo City FC -- continue to ignore the interests of the fans by coming up with this strange mascot and then asking us to name it. I think you'll be intrigued by the comments.
