no chatroom for me. The Premier League had the incredibly poor taste to schedule the match when I'm in church. I hope you guys have a lively time, and that nobody gets hurt.

Well son of a gun. Fight, passion, guys throwing themselves in front of shots. Where has this been? Great to get a result and feel a little optimism by taking pts from a match where I expected zero. Need to see more of this before I change my tune, but for now at least, I'll stop calling #39 Barren Dent. I will not stop calling Sidwell Fulham's #9, however.

As a side note, United are an even bigger mess than I thought. It's to the point that I wonder if Moyes hasn't lost the locker room. In injury time, when they had the ball, we weren't chasing it much. All they had to do was play keep away and they'd have won. Instead, they kept going for goal and giving us the ball back. And it was so very sweet to make them pay for that.

I only was able to see the last 5 minutes + stoppage time, so I missed the excitement besides Bent's late equalizer. How did Tankovic look in the first half, as well as the other young bloods?

A remarkable smash 'n' grab point. Worth recalling, as the tv announcers did, that Blackburn Rovers snatched one at Old Trafford but still got relegated at the end of the season. OTOH, if we do survive everyone will remember Bent's header forever. Wow!

Wow. Would never have expected that. I was scratching my head, to say the least, when I saw the starting eleven, considering we didn't even bother with a striker. But credit the back four, including (perhaps, especially) the maligned Riise, for the gutty, hearty performance we've been craving for so long. Holtby showed one dazzling moment of creativity (I'm looking forward to what he can do when we haven't parked the bus). And what can you say about Steve Sidwell? How many times has that guy saved our bacon?

And Senor Moyes has gone from doing more with less at Everton to doing less with more at Manchester United.

Staying up will take a bit a o' luck and the squad got a nice rub of the green today. A huge point. I thought the back 5 showed some heart and skill - they gave up one offensive goal as Steck would've saved Carrick's shot had it not deflected, so I'm not blaming them for the second; the amount of pressure they withstood for the better of 75 minutes was an encouraging sign.

Liverpool shot their proverbial @$%& against Arsenal, so I'm going to lie to myself and say another point is attainable.

Anyway, good stuff to see so many players throwing their bodies in front of shots and into tackles.

Yes, but one time he touched the ball he set up what should have been our second goal after a 50 yard dash with the football.

been going back and forth with a friend on this one. He's still somewhat in shock and i'm actually somewhat disappointed. I agree, getting a point away anywhere is huge for fulham, ManU? amazing. but i cant stop thinking about what should have been. Richardson's miss was huge. I'm still trying to understand that miss. and the other side of this is I'm scared to be too high after this, I start believing we could get another point this week.

Yep, Richardson's miss was a doozy, but don't forget RVP had one just as bad, if not worse. I didn't mention in my post above, but Stek had a heck of a game. A couple big saves. We're going to need that kind of play from him down the stretch.

Sidwell - MOM, beautiful goal that put us ahead for much of the game, and his interception of the ball led to Bent's final minute goal. The man was simply everywhere. Also, Holtby gave us the invention and hope we needed in the first half of the game. Unfortunately he is small and the ref allowed him to be abused continuously by Vidic & Co. A great result that could've been better. ManU sucks. COYW!
