After winning the Nike Friendlies last month against the likes of Brazil, Portugal, and England, the U17s, with Fulham's Luca de la Torre, success continues at the Aegean cup in Turkey. They've beaten France 2-1 and Norway 5-2. :banana-guitar:

Speaking of the SA scorpion youth scheme, I hope you get a chance to go see one of their matches. These kids give up their high school playing careers to play in the USSF DA and there is never anyone at their games. They can use some support and I would love to hear what you think of the playing quality. You can find their schedule here http://ussda.demosphere.com/Clubs/sched ... 95566.html

And a local Cleveland kid featured in the match too!!!

The US boys drew with Scotland 1-1 and advance to the final against Turkey. Here are the highlights. Fulham's American U16 player Luca de la Torre is #8 and quite the playmaker.

Sounds like Haji Wright is one of the names to watch from this group.
