I'm going to be optimistic today (even thought no optimism is called for or appropriate), and predict a Whites victory, 3-2, with a return to the form we displayed in our opening day fixture with a brace for young Mr. Kasami.

If I get back from an appointment in time to do so live, I hope to get into the chatroom. I'll also try to get a view done, but I've got a new operating system and it might just kick my ass.

Aiming to make it to the chat in time for the second half. I would expect this to be an open match with plenty of opportunities for both sides. While it isn't November yet, practically every other result this weekend favored us, 3 points and the lads leapfrog a few teams and jump right back into a mid-table position. COYW!!

Yup, and for whatever reason I am hopeful today that Fulham will come away with those 3 points. But it seems every time I am optimistic with Fulham, it usually ends up going the other way.

I didn't get to see the whole match but I did see Kasami's strike. Superb!

Two fantastic strikes along with a couple more as icing on the cake.

Crystal Palace seems to be great medicine :D

I tried to avoid the score until I got home and could fire up the DVR. That didn't happen, thanks to Deadspin. Seriously, I think this is the first time Deadspin has ever mentioned Fulham (without also mentioning Michael Jackson). Oh well, it did give me this spectacular shot of our chairman:

As for the match, I think it's what we've all been waiting for. In any other week (in which Arsenal doesn't score the best goal in years), Kasami's strike would've been tops.

Let's hope the tides have turned.

I don't want to rain on the parade as I myself am still buzzing this morning but we still haven't found a great way to get the ball to Bent yet. Granted if our midfield does that every game then it isn't needed, but still want to see some solid through balls going his way sooner rather than later.

Every place Bent went he took one or two defenders with him. He did just fine yesterday. It's good when we don't need him to actually score.
