England defeated Brazil for the first time in 23 years with Roy and Ray at the helm. I prefer to give them all the credit. :handgestures-salute:

Roy seems to work best when he his team is the underdog, and it's hard to believe, but the 3 Lions need building up. As Rooney says, it's only a friendly, but after reading Lampard's comments, it looks like Roy has the locker room.

A stroke of genius (and guts) to put Townsend in for his debut in a must win game against Montenegro, and he rewarded Roy with a MOTM performance. Only 90 minutes at home against a solid Poland team remain in England's quest for a spot in Brazil.

Congrats to Roy - he's where he belongs. Gerrard's goal was a puncher's chance and sweet, fighting goal. Good on England - now don't be drawn with the US again.
