    What I think the statue was singing;

    Take me home Al Fayed, To the place where I belong,
    To a hotel or other property, Take me home Al Fayed!

    I hope this happens. It was stupid to erect it at Craven Cottage to begin with.

    Aww, man!

    The MJ fans seemed to be the only ones who looked at my photos of that silly statue on my Photobucket account!

    That got me thinking maybe the plan is to put up a statue of Mo, once the riverside expansion is complete. Mo initially made Khan promise he would keep the MJ statue, but perhaps that is how they got him to agree to take the statue down. Having a statue of the eccentric owner is certainly more palatable than the eccentric singer.

    MAF statue without a doubt. One of the many great pics of him waving to the supporters from the pitch

    Goodbye and good riddance to the statue. So glad to see it gone.
