Hello everyone. I've been a fan of soccer ever since I witnessed Maxi Rodriguez blast against Mexico in WC '06. Since that time I have been searching high and low for a club I could get behind, but haven't had much luck. I've been following MLS mostly since '06 and was disgusted by the quality the first 2 seasons, but it has gotten much better. Love watching UEFA Champions League, and CONCAFCA Champs League is a blast to watch in my opinion as well.

When Shad Khan bought the Jacksonville Jags, of course everyone was concerned that he'd move the team. Since Day 1 he has said and done all the right things to show that Jacksonville is where the team belongs. I am really excited on what the Jags will be accomplishing next season. I doubt they'll be serious contenders this season, but everything is looking up.

So when I heard Shad Khan purchased Fulham FC, I knew exciting things will be coming for this storied club. Thus I am taking the plunge and will be following the Whites to see what is in store for the future of Fulham.

    -Bill :D

Welcome Bill! Glad to hear Khan has been a positive owner for the Jags so far, and hope he will be for Fulham as well. Our season long NFL thread will be firing up soon, so hope you'll contribute. As a Seahawks fan, I was disappointed he left, but happy Gus Bradley got the opportunity to be a head coach, I think he'll do a good job down there (as long as they get the QB situation fixed)

Had to look up that Maxi goal, and it brought back some memories. I went to a Mexico viewing party w/some of my El Tri friends at a restaurant and the place went from crazy loud (it was a great match to watch for a neutral) to utter stunned silence to cleared out in a matter of minutes.

Man, I feel for you, Gus is one passionate coach! It's gonna be fun seeing what's in store with him and GM Dave Caldwell at the helm. Frankly I'm not too worried about the QB situation. I gotta feeling Gabbert is gonna be looking real settled in that position, this is technically his draft class and has 2 years of NFL experience. With the pick of of Luke Joeckel and Will Rackley hopefully staying off the IR, the O-Line should be much more steady for a QB to be able to do their job. The O-line has been ripped to shreds the last 2 season when it came to injuries. My concern is the defensive side of the team. Take a look at the roster. Nearly everyone who was playing on their last year of contract is gone. It is one very young defense.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! :D
