Happy Thanksgiving. Haven't had one in 6 years now and do miss it but I'm back in New York for Christmas so can't complain too much.

Mikey, I know you don't live in the smoke, but if you're working on Thursday, don't forget that St. Paul's does a Thanksgiving service for expats -- been doing this since at least the end of WWII. Can't be too many tube stops from where you're working.

    Enjoy in any case.

Happy Thanksgiving! Really looking forward to a long weekend of not much to do . . . other than stand on my feet for hours on end cooking.

Mike, you could whip up a Thanksgiving feast for your friends and family there in England. They'd love it. That's how I discovered making pumpkin pie using fresh pumpkin, I couldnt find canned pumpkin in the UK.

ML's sister, brother-in-law, and Mom all moved here from CA this year, so it will be a "Bonney" thanksgiving at the sister-in-laws. ML/my niece, who's lived here for a few years now, will be wallowing in family -- and that's a good thing.

Happy Thanksgiving to all FulhAmericans. Enjoy this most American of holidays.

The wife and I attended the Thanksgiving service at St. Paul's yesterday; it was well nice and I recommend it fully. There is also an American Thanksgiving dinner at the RAF Club on Picadilly nr. Hyde Park Cnr, but we went to the GL instead for a pint & curry. I know everyone thinks the Lion is naff but Annie has always been brilliant to me. I enjoyed my Thanksgiving curry w/ the wife & opposite the photo of the '82-'83 Fulham side w/ Ray Lew, Tony Gale, Paul Parker, Ivor & Super Mac.
