Fulham skip over to north London to face Tottenham. It is the late game with kickoff at 3pm EST on USA Network.

Tottenham have a terrible home record and Fulham has a terrible away record so something has to give! Or maybe they'll just get a draw. Tottenham had a mid-week match against PSG in the Champions League. Spurs managed to get a lead against PSG twice, but in the end they were beaten 5-3. After that and disappointing losses in the league to Aresenal and Chelsea, it feels like this team is about to come apart at the seams. Tottenham will also be dealing with a suspension for Romero and a number of injuries.

With the current state of Tottenham it feels like Fulham could keep going with their recent good form against Spurs. I'll feel better about Fulham's odds if Silva doesn't go back to the old King/Lukic/Berge combo in the midfield. I also think Chukwueze has earned a spot in the starting lineup. Fulham should go at Tottenham, score quicky, and then watch the Tottenham players and fans turn against each other.

    Nailed it!

Fulham didn’t seem to know what to do in the second half but somehow did enough of it to hold off Spurs.

Chukwueze was great! He definitely made the most of his first start.

And of course all of the post match TV talk is about how bad Tottenham are right now. And they’re promoting Thomas Frank’s post match comments…like he’s gonna be fired or just quit on the spot.
    Grrrrr…….

Listened to the first half driving to LAX aka Hell on Earth. Rather enjoyed listening to the Spuds broadcasters whine and moan. The Grandson got to hear what he wanted on the way home, so could only hope for the result, what a great win!!

When the starting lineup was released I thought "Alright boys, this is the lineup I've been waiting for! Don't let me down!" They certainly came through in the opening half! Based on the highlights it seems like they should have even had more. The same could be said for Tottenham in the second half - they probably should have had more too. I'm a bit surprised Leno didn't save the shot from Kudus. It looked like he had it covered - and then he didn't. Fulham was that close to another clean sheet.

Fulham got a little lucky on the first goal, but you make your own luck by putting the ball on net. That second goal was really a heads up play by Wilson. He knew exactly what he wanted to do and was begging King to put the ball on his left foot. It really feels like Chukwueze should have scored at least once, but he'll have to be happy with just another assist for now.

Fulham haven't moved up in the table, but these two wins now mean Fulham is six points above the relegation zone and, at least until Sunday afternoon, only three points off of 6th place. Fulham have gotten some breathing room and are now back in the mid-table traffic jam.

I'm glad we finally got a first look at the black away kit and I like it even more when it is paired with a win!
