Fulham stays in SW6 to face off against Chelsea. Kickoff is at 7:30am EDT on USA Network.

This matchup has been much closer since Silva brought Fulham back. In the six matches since Fulham's last promotion Fulham has 2 wins, 1 draw, and three losses. And only one of those losses was by more than one goal. Prior to 2023 it took Fulham over 40 years to find two wins against Chelsea. Fulham comes into this match up, as usual, with a squad with far fewer stars their their neighbors, but under Silva anything is possible.

Fulham might be able to start Robinson in this match, which would hopefully also mean a return to a traditional back four. Wilson had some issues that had him leave the Bristol match early, so we may not see him although he is not officially out. Chelsea will be without Palmer.

Once again I will miss out on this match. I'm not sure I've seen any of the Chelsea matches live under Silva because it always seems like something else requires my attention. This time I'll be driving a moving truck rather than watching the match. All I want is a competitive match. Getting back to back wins at Stamford Bridge seems like too much to ask for.

You like to think that bad calls even up over the course of the season, but Good Gawd 3 matches in, and we’re so many calls behind it’s mind blowing.

At least Robbie Mustoe said in the studio that it ‘was the worst call he’s seen since covering the Premier League’.

This team requires management to get a couple signings done to give the squad a boost, because damn…

What a great move and score by King and then what a criminal decision to steal that from him. Just awful. The penalty decision was a little more understandable, but i thought there was some level of forgiveness if it hit another body part of the player before it strikes the hand - and it hit Sessegnon's leg first.

The coverage on the first goal was bad, but from the highlights Fulham has nothing to be ashamed of, they were robbed points by shit officiating.

Fulham did play well - aside from, as @MicahMan said, defending the corner from which Chelsea scored. A handful of times the team had a series of flowing passes to play out of their end and push into the attack.

King played well again, Berge is doing better at advancing the ball. Andersen stepped way up a few times to intercept passes (and even made it far enough upfield one time to take a shot).

However, the defense in general needs to tighten up. Three penalties conceded in three matches is concerning.

The good news though is there is zero chance that VAR can interfere next weekend.

PGMOL has apologized and admitted the error, but so what. There is something uniquely wrong in how VAR is used in England. I watch a fair number of Bundesliga and MLS matches, and while there is always a potential for controversy, I am not seeing the same number of obviously bad calls every week.

I hope Josh King will use having been robbed of an incredible moment as an additional motivator.
