Fulham hosts Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday with the odd kickoff time of 9:30am EDT. The match will be carried on USA Network.

When Fulham faced Tottenham (apparently the club prefers to be called "Tottenham Hotspur" or "Spurs", but "Tottenham" is what I've always called them - they should just be happy I don't use Spuds!) back in early December they were one point above Fulham. Fulham was happy to come away with a draw after they had to close out the final minutes a man down after Tom Cairney's red card. That was the beginning of a terrible run for Tottenham. Five points from 11 matches over December and January. It was relegation form that saw them go way down the table. They've since bounced back with 10 points from their last five matches. They are also getting some players back from injury - I'm particularly worried about the return of van de Ven who has been out since November.

After going through the first half of the season where it felt like Fulham always put in a pretty good performance even if they didn't get a win, Fulham have been much more hot or cold in 2025. After getting five draws in December alone, Fulham has only had one since and instead bounced erratically from great wins to disappointing losses. Fulham will still be without Lukic as he serves the last of his suspension, but Traore should be back. I'll be interested to see who starts in the midfield. Smith Rowe has been mostly useless, so does Pereira move up and let Reed come in next to Berge? I think that Sessegnon has been the hot player recently and he didn't get enough time against Brighton. Hopefully he comes on earlier on Sunday because he'll have something to prove against his old team.

Satisfying. Great to see Pereira play his heart out. My MOTM. Some very difficult matches on paper coming up, but I’m more optimistic about those than I would be about playing the bottom four.

    SESSSSSSS!!!!

Oh, man! That felt so good to see! What heart and drive for Sessegnon to make something happen there and put the game to bed. That was a perfect finish. (Sidenote - I don't think Leno was credited with an assist, he was robbed!) I've been saying for a while I just want Fulham to play well, give us some entertaining football, and create some memories. That is one more fantastic memory from this season to add to the list. I still think he came on too late, but he didn't need much time!

After that spell in the later part of the first half where Fulham made lots of chances, but didn't come away with anything, I thought their opportunity might have gone to get a lead. But they made it through a period where Tottenham got on the front foot and kept working until Muniz finally got the goal. Good persistence show by the squad today.
