Fulham is up north near the Wall (Hadrian's Wall, not some mythical ice wall) to take on Newcastle. Kickoff is on Peacock at 10am EST.

I hate to admit this, but recent results has given me a "whatever" attitude about Fulham's remaining matches. Win, lose, draw? Whatever. It doesn't matter much. Fulham isn't getting relegated and they aren't going to Europe, so whatever. Its really unfortunate because Fulham had put themselves in the position to do something by getting points from every match in December. Getting only 4 points from Ipswich, West Ham, Leicester, and Manchester United has pretty much ensured that opportunity has passed. Sure Fulham could go on a big run to close out the season, but closing out the season strong has not been something we've seen from Fulham under Silva in the Premier League. This has been a very good season for Fulham, it just isn't going to be everything it could have been.

Nothing has happened during the transfer window to change Fulham's trajectory either. Fulham haven't gotten a break on recent injuries either with Wilson done and Nelson still out.

At this point I'm just hoping for something entertaining and enjoyable to watch on Saturday. And do not adjust your televisions - Fulham will be in their purple camo kit for the first time this season o_O

That was entertaining! Action at both ends all match long. I think the match could have easily swung in Newcastle’s favor but I’m glad it didn’t.

You could tell that Fulham were moving a bit more urgently today. Unfortunately that led to a lot of wayward passes but I’m glad that they were trying. Kudos to putting it together and owning the second half.

I got what I wanted - an entertaining match! And a win, that's just icing on top!

I loved that first Fulham goal. That's what I want to see more of. Keep pushing forward on these breaks, put the defense on their heels. The second goal was a really well executed set-piece play too. That was nice to see after getting so little from set pieces most of the year. Leno made some excellent saves too, especially when Newcastle had Fulham pinned back in the first half.

A draw probably would have been a fair result, but Newcastle just couldn't put away most of the opportunities they were given. It was a weird day for Jacob Murphy, my favorite non-Fulham player. He scores the Newcastle goal, causes the deflection that gets Fulham's first goal, and then causes the foul that gets Fulham the winning free kick.

Was the pitch at St. James' Park covered in marbles? It seemed like players on both teams had trouble staying on their feet. Fortunately it didn't make a difference in the outcome.
