Los Angeles fires (volunteer?)

Hi, Fulham. Brentford supporter and Los Angeles native coming in peace and brotherhood amidst these dark days for our city.

if you have contact information for anyone who coordinates FFC fan watch parties or events in the LA area, would you mind posting their email here, or emailing me at jonnyrosen-at-gmail? I’d love to get our LA groups together for volunteering in the weeks ahead. Our Bees club is small (now 3️⃣ people!), but if you’re interested in partnering in any way, we’d enjoy organizing something and sharing photos with the clubs’ community and digital marketing staffs.

@Jonathan regardless of our football club of choice, we all want to see some peace and recovery for LA. Unfortunately, I'm over on the right coast and don't have any direct knowledge of who you could reach out to. Welcome Johnathan!! Besides the link Micah provided, California Fulham Fans on FB is made up of a lot of Ex-Pats as well us locals. The ‘watch party’ group tends to watch matches in south Orange County (San Clemente), but I can throw out info on a WhatsApp thread.

As far as volunteering, I would assume Red Cross/ Salvation Army, and other local charities will be setting up more things once things get more under control. My wife is a teacher and their school district raised supplies w/each school specializing in something (my wife’s school focused on infant supplies). So I would think local school districts would be a great resource on volunteering opportunities.

Luckily for us, we’ve only had to deal w/air quality, the closest fire is the Eaton fire (about 12-15 miles). Fires is something we deal with when the Santa Ana winds howl, but the level of devastation is hard to even fathom.
