Fulham is back in action against Wolverhampton at Craven Cottage. The match kicks off Saturday on Peacock at 10am EST.

On paper, Fulham should win this one easily, but as the saying goes, they play the games for a reason. Wolverhampton just earned their first win of the season against lowly Southampton after a terrible start. They also have injuries to some key players. Despite all of that, I feel like they still have been a bit unlucky and they've got some good players on the team so I expect this to actually be a pretty close match.

The big factor will likely be the weather. The forecast for heavy rain and strong winds mean the odd goal from a weird bounce or inopportune slip could define the outcome of the match.

Lukic will be available again, but will likely have to wait for his opportunity to return from the bench given how well Berge has played. Reed will be out for the rest of 2024, which makes Lukic's return a timely one.

Well that was a bizarre 90 min. Total domination to start, Raul somehow hit the bar from 5 yards out after a great cross from Jedi, then Uwobi w/the brilliant strike a couple minutes later…then Wolves w/2 sublime goals from their first 2 chances (the Cunha goal was so good it was a shock to the system). Thoroughly deserved 3 pts for them, Now just hope Andersen injury isn’t a bad one

I caught the first half and was disappointed to be tied come halftime. Then I had to leave for a boy scout thing and spent hours looking forward to the 2nd half. Then the 2nd half left so much to be desired. Bummer of a day.

Well that was embarrassing. I know Wolves are a Premier League club and there are no easy matches… but c’mon! Seems like everyone came back from the international break expecting to cruise.

Fulham had the majority of the possession, but created nothing. If you remove Raul’s shot that hit the post (0.63 xG), the team generated 0.38 xG over the course of the match. You can’t expect to win with that.

I too hope Andersen is not out long. Multiple matches with Diop is fuel for my nightmares.

That was pathetic. Like @stlouisbrad I had to finish watching the second half later but I did not anticipate Fulham would get clobbered in the final 45. Wolves certainly deserved the win, but Fulham just blew a great opportunity for a win today. As many of you have said, I just hope this match hasn't doomed Fulham for December. Anyone know why Berge wasn't even in the squad? Lukic did not look ready to start, he wasn't tracking back enough especially in the second half.

I don't know why anyone would want to watch these, but here are the highlights

Iwobi's goal was pretty sweet, but then you can leave. (Though Cunha's first was also sweet - you just have to ignore that it was against Fulham.)

You know, that is an excellent point. There were some delicious goals in this one! It was just sad that Iwobi's spectacular shot was on such an otherwise dreary day.

Managed to only catch the second half and then exited before Fulham conceded the fourth. Thus, I missed any of Fulham's "good" moments and was kind of puzzled by the substitutions, but I don't know what the squad's fitness level was post-international break... Write that bit of ugliness off and move onward. Andersen's fitness is worrisome, agreed. COYW
