Was south of the border last week and mercifully missed the loss at OT.

The Foxes are back and have to give it to Jamie Vardy who easily had the best smack of the opening weekend. Spurs fans must of been giving him stick because Vardy mic dropped them by pointing at the Prem logo on his jersey and then held up his index finger, then he pointed at the Spurs supporters and held up a zero sign on his hand.

Do is anyone know if the new stand will finally be fully open?

I'm new to Peacock -- signed up for the Olympics and now I want to watch Fulham. My problem is that, here in California, most games (like this week's) are on at 7:00 am which usually is too damn early for me. I've been looking around the Peacock app and the Direct TV app and I can't find a way to record the games to watch them later. Is there a way to do this?

@sacffc when matches are shown live on Peacock they will be available almost immediately after the game wraps up on replay. When games are on USA then they will be available on Peacock the following day. If you get up at 8:30am Pacific Time and the match is still going, you can rewind the match back to the beginning. (When I do this I mute the TV and I cover the top 80% of the screen so I don't accidentally see or hear the score, and I only see the controls to move the slider back to the beginning). Sometimes when you go back to the beginning near the end of the match it won't keep playing to the end and then you have to pick it back up where you left off on the replay version. Hopefully that all makes sense!

Maybe??? It seems that there were tickets for sale for the central section. The club also just posted about a number of new hospitality options and new entry point from the Bishop's Park side, but it also doesn't say that all the seats are available and it says there is still ongoing work:

I think Leicester will do better this season than most expect them to and will stay up. They'll be hard to beat. But I think we will.

I'm a little worried about this match after the draw that Leicester pulled off versus Tottenham. It reminded me a little bit of the draw that Fulham had against Liverpool we we came back up - and Fulham went on to finish 10th! However, Fulham played much better for the full 90 against Liverpool than Leicester did against Tottenham, so it the comparison shouldn't go too far.

If Leicester is destined for relegation - as just about everyone is predicting - then Fulham need to get a win at home against them. Last season Fulham missed their chance at a top half finish because they failed to perform well against the bottom teams. Fulham needs to bring back their 2022-23 dominance of the bottom sides while working in some of those top-tier scalps from 2023-24.

As for the lineup, it is too early for Andersen to take over from Diop, but I do hope we can see Berge as a substitute. After last week, my main wonder is if Traore will start. He was a great spark early on, but he couldn't convert and fizzled down the stretch. I won't be surprised if Wilson is the one change to the starting lineup. I hope that we see the team jell together a little better this week. No more running to the same spot in the box and no bouncing the ball off a defender's toe when looking to release a one-on-one with the keeper!

I'm excited for tomorrow but sadly I can't watch live due to some family commitments.

Thoroughly deserved 3 points. We miss Joao, but we are incredibly deep in midfield (don’t remember a deeper/more talented midfield).

BDR looked strange in blue, and I was standing and applauding also along w/the Fulham supporters when he was subbed off. I’m sure he’ll remember that ovation for a long time.

It WAS so weird to see Bobby on the other side against Fulham. Great shot from him to force an outstanding fingertip save from Leno.

I was so happy to see Smith Rowe get his first goal, what a great calm finish. So much potential with him this season.

Getting the three points is great, but it felt closer than it should have been. I thought Pereira had another lackluster game where he again made some poor choices that killed off Fulham moves. I was also grumpy that Fulham could not keep more possession for the last 15 minutes. They really needed to kill the clock and limit Leicester's opportunities. Okay, done whining.

On another positive note, while Muniz didn't score he was a serious threat and it was his effort to win the ball that opened up the Leicester defense on the first score. His first goal is coming soon.

Always love to see the first banana of the season!

    The highlights:

Avoided the score until I got to watch the replay and was rewarded with a W.

I was thinking that this was a rather frustrating win. I have to keep reminding myself that the three points in the bag are the most important thing (also 10th in the table looks right), but after that first goal I was telling the team, “Great. Now go get two more.”

Fulham’s defense of corners needs serious work. For the Leicester goal, there were four blue jerseys to only two white. I don’t know why Fulham loaded five guys on the near post when all the Leicester players went to the back post. Even more frustrating is that the same thing happened around the 80th minute when Fulham were barely hanging on.

Speaking of frustration, I’ve determined that my two most frustrating Fulham players are Traore and Diop. Funny thing is they’re frustrating for totally opposite reasons. Diop is 90% good, but there’s always that major error lingering. Traore is frustrating 90% of the time, but there’s always that moment of brilliance that pops up.

I’m genuinely excited about this season. The fact that the transfers have come in before the deadline and there’s so much more room to grow…. Come on you Whites!

I was wondering the same thing! Fulham uses a zone defense on corners rather than man-t0-man. Was that zone set up correctly? If everyone was in the right spot then the zone structure needs some tweaking because it seriously flawed in a situation like that!

Also that summation of Traore/Diop is spot on!

And just not to complain too much... After watching the highlights again I realized I didn't appreciate enough that terrific assist from Robinson to Iwobi on the second goal. That ball over the Leicester back line was absolutely beautiful!
