Fulham hosts a demoralized Liverpool on Sunday. Last month they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United, then they saw their Premier League title chances fall out of their control with a loss to Crystal Palace last weekend, and finally they were thoroughly beaten over two legs in the Europa Cup by Atalanta. In the second half of the Atalanta match this week they seemed to have given up. If they come to Craven Cottage with the same attitude they are going to get demolished by Fulham.

However, I think Klopp is too good a manager to allow that to happen. They'll probably come out guns blazing, but an early goal from Fulham could undue any motivation he generates. If Fulham do get an early lead I hope they've learned from recent experience with Liverpool to not take their foot off the gas and to not stop pressing on defense until the final whistle has blown. Atalanta showed how to get it done by never giving Liverpool a chance to think even with a three goal lead.

The match will be on USA with kickoff at 11:30am on Sunday.

I think he’s lost the locker room.
I say we give Herr Klop a goodbye present he will never forget.

    Love the bold prediction!

The boy has his 1st communion tomorrow during the game so I won't be able to watch. I'm not the praying type but since I'll be there I'll try to send some pro Fulham thoughts to the big guy.

I'm not sure that will have the desired outcome. To paraphrase Frank Herbert in Dune... God created Fulham to test the faithful.

Only watched the highlights, but I'm not surprised by the results. Klopp mixed things up and got the response he wanted. From the clips below it seems like they just took advantage of Fulham errors when they came. We wait another season for the 6-0 win!

    Well, fartknockers.
Scousers played really good defense today, and we just didn’t match their energy and intensity. They essentially took Muniz out of the game. When you can do that to your opponent’s best goal scorer, it usually ends up being a good day.
Either they really turned up the pitch wide pressure, or we looked really futile attacking it most of the time.
The age old cliche a little bit of both probably applies.
Oh well, on to the next one. I hope we finish strong, well up into the top ten at least.

Yes, Fulham came out with a competitive nature but eventually succumbed to the “we’re mathematically safe so let’s not push it” mentality. Robbie Mustoe confirmed this for me in the postgame commentary. To be quite honest, I’m surprised Liverpool didn’t tack on at least one more after subbing in Mac Allister, Salah and Nunez.

I’m really happy for Castagne. A well deserved goal. I feel the team really missed Willian though.

Four games remain, I think three are winnable which would definitely push the team toward a top ten finish.

What did us in, other than the two mistakes that led to goals 2 and 3, was our passing. I don't remember us passing this poorly this season. Oftentimes, it looked like the guys, especially Iwobi, had never trained together. They were not on the same page. No idea what happened. Let's hope it's a one-off.

Hated the timing of playing Liverpool from their recent struggles, so this was not a surprising result. @jumpkutz Klopp hasn’t lost the locker room, it’s more a combo of injuries and bleeding in youngsters, Salah not scoring goals for fun, and Diaz & Nunez not finishing the crazy amount of chances they get.
