My top three were Palhinha, Leno (really close picking between those two as #1) and Ream (for sentimental reasons).

My top choice was Willian vs. Forest because it showed so much skill, but my second choice was probably the one with the most "wow" factor - Palhinha's strike against Leeds. I put Cairney's goal against Leicester as #3 since it was a great team effort.

 

I picked the same three for player of the season. I did want a fourth option to give some recognition to Willian.

Since the opening match against Liverpool I thought for sure that I would vote for Palhinha in this contest, but in the end I pulled the lever for Leno. Some analysis from Tifo and Fulhamish really hammered home how critical Leno was especially with so many points coming on a one goal edge. And while I love Palhinha for his defensive tenacity and spirit, Leno had fewer error prone moments and was consistently solid. Both are certainly deserving of the honor.

 

I didn't read too much regarding player analysis, but I've held the opinion all season long that Palhinha made everyone behind him better this year (including Leno and especially Ream/Tosin/Diop). So I voted for Palhinha.
