    Our Grandson’s 1st BDay party takes a slight priority :rolleyes:, but hopefully some of you will be able to make it;

July 23 vs Brentford in Philly

July 26 vs Aston Villa in Orlando

July 30 vs The Undead in DC

My heart says philly, but I'll probably pick wherever is the cheapest to get too.

Should anyone want to meet up IRL, I think I could make the Philly or DC match. Oddly enough, I'll already be in Philly on July 23 to see CAKE at the Mann Center (should anyone want to meet up IRL for CAKE :D). With the Philly kickoff at 4pm and CAKE at 7:30pm I think I could do both.

Does anyone know if there is any meet-n-greet with the team in Orlando?

Welcome to the forum Paul! I haven't seen anything other than vague references to "supporting events". The say you can sign up to be notified of event details here: https://www.premierleague.com/SummerSeries

I'm not really sure what to expect but it would be nice if there was a chance to connect with the players.

I got me a ticket to the double header outside DC.

I still need to figure out every other logistical detail, but I got the ticket and that's all that matters for now.

I'll be in Philly! Anyone going there?

Plans for DC (ahem, Landover) still TBD as we may be on vacation

I’m in section 323 on the club level. I didn’t have much time to consider options as I was purchasing on my phone at work in between meetings, but it’s pretty centrally located and should have a good viewing angle of the pitch.

The Fulham games are adjacent to and during my wedding anniversary trip. I realize one may question my commitment, but I swear I would have made it to one of the matches in any other circumstances.

I'm in for DC, too! Sec 134. I got looped in to a Fulham in the South group email (despite my being very much not from the South) and there's talk of a meetup and tailgate, as well.

Just booked my flights to Philly. Have not bought tickets to the match yet but will do soon. I'd like to meet up with folks if possible. I think I met 4-5 members from this site at the Golden Lion when I lived in old blighty, including the Godfather, Mike.

Missed your post. If I can, would be cool to meet up. Will have my wife and daughter in tow and may a friend from Philly.

I'll be interested to get a report from those of you at the match - like what the heck does our formation look like?! Is Palhinha a CB? I can't figure it out from the lineup. Hope you all have a great time - COYW!

Not often that you get highlights from a pre-season match:

What a pair of shots from Wilson and DeCordova-Reid!

The bad news is that Palhinha separated his shoulder. Separation is a soft tissue injury between the collar bone and shoulder blade rather than a dislocation which would probably be a quicker recovery. We'll have to wait and see what follow-up exams find before hearing an estimate on the time he'll miss. The season starts in 19 days.

This match also seemed to make it clear that Mitrovic is done with Fulham. Exiting this way feels like a kick in the teeth and really makes it hard right now to appreciate all he did for the team.

Had a great day. A couple hours before the match I actually ran into the squad while walking in a park near my hotel. Joined them for stroll for a few seconds. Will post a pic or two from the match when back in Houston.

Had a lot of fun yesterday in Philly, and the day prior at the Fulhamish/CottageTalk podcast taping! Arrived late due to carpooling logistics but was so great to watch Fulham with my oldest kiddo for the first time ever. Seeing Palhinha at CB was strange, but seeing Ream giving him pointers during the water break was hilarious. We'll be away so cannot attend the DC event, but have fun those that are going!
