Fulham host Tottenham on Monday with kickoff at 3pm EST on USA.

On Saturday I watched the Liverpool/Chelsea match and thought "A draw would be a nice for Fulham's chances at a European spot." And then I thought "HOW AWESOME IS IT THAT I CAN NON-IRONICALLY THINK ABOUT FULHAM IN A EUROPEAN TOURNAMENT!" Well, Liverpool and Chelsea did draw, while Brighton's draw saw them step above Fulham based on goal differential. A win Monday would allow Fulham to move up above Tottenham into 5th place.

A win seems achievable too. Tottenham is in their worst form of the season and they blew their two goal lead against Manchester City on their way to a 4-2 defeat. When Fulham faced Tottenham before, Robinson went off midway through the first half and Mbabu was forced to play out of position - and it showed. Despite playing without a proper left-back Fulham still kept the match close - and that was when Tottenham was in their best form. Fulham should be able to make a stronger showing this time although with Kane and Son on the pitch you can never take Tottenham lightly.

I'm going to attempt to avoid the score until Tuesday afternoon. I got rid of my cable. So that's a tall order.

I did bet over 2.5 total goals while in Illinois yesterday. I'd trade my ten bucks for a Fulham win and a clean sheet.

I have scheduled a meeting at work tomorrow from 3 to 5 (wink). I expect an excellent meeting and hope for a positive outcome.

I had to be a Leeds fan today and they have kept us above Brentford in the table. If the Monday afternoon meeting goes well, we’ll be in 5th for a time. That would be an amazing picture to behold.

These highlights suck! And not just because of the final result, but the editor for NBC sports (human or robot) seemed to have fell asleep at the controls.

I didn't get to watch the match but it seems like generally Fulham was the better team - they just couldn't put the ball someplace Lloris wasn't standing.

These are pretty much the same highlights, but no duplicate clips and only takes 2 minutes to watch.

Fulham played well. On another day, we put one of the chances away, Kane hits the post with his one shot, and we win the game.

Mitro seemed off to me today. Hopefully it’s just this week and he recovers his form. Maybe he’s simply tired; if so, we should rest him against Sunderland.

Pretty cool that I felt disappointed to be only 7th in the table.

    Onward.

The game was very even from my perspective. Except for one moment of brilliance from Kane.

It’s nice to see Fulham hang with the big boys, instead of just hanging on.

Deserved a point from this one. Kane owns Tim, and he knows it. And at this level, that can be, and was, the difference. BDR came out flying, which was good to see. But…two straight with no goals. And we’re falling back into the old pattern of losing to teams we’re supposed to lose to. The FA Cup break is well timed. Maybe we can get a reset on some guys that might need it, not just Mitro. We need more forward players to be more consistent, legit scoring threats. Cairney’s been playing awfully well off the bench. Time to give him a start or two? Reed’s been OK, but needs to be better. And we need to get Jedi the ball more in the attacking third. He “tries shit.”

Got home just in time to see Kane's goal. I saw him shoot and figured that it was going nowhere, so I dropped off my stuff, looked back at the TV and said "WTF!"

I did NOT expect to see Spurs lock down their defense the entire second half. They played well. Sigh
