Thanks for sharing HD. This was the first musician that I remember the moment I heard and was sitting my mom. Still in this heart as well.

When I started typing in the Manchester City post "here's your future Fulham" this song popped into my head. Not soccer related in any way, but I'll take the chorus!

I know there are some Rush fans here. Here's a new one. Check out this 11 year old play Tom Sawyer.
"This one is for you Professor Peart. I wanted to try a @rush song that would really challenge me. I watched an interview were the Professor said Tom Sawyer 'remains so difficult to play'. So I thought I would give it a try. It's actually really fun to play. I really hope I have done the song justice, Professor Pearts' playing is incredible. I hope I got the strength and smoothness balance right. I have a new found love for RUSH now too!"

While the above video is more difficult and technical (I think), the first Nandi Bushell video that caught my eye was her challenge to Dave Grohl a year earlier and the pure joy on her face as she pounds out Everlong.

Absolutely stunned by the loss of the great Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins. Dave Grohl is the frontman, but Taylor was always with him on interviews while the rest of the guys stayed in the background. They were currently on tour in South America. This turned out to be the final song he ever played with the group a few days ago: RIP Taylor

    How sad. RIP Taylor.

In 2008, at Wembley Stadium, Dave Grohl brought out Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones to do a couple of Led Zep songs. Since Dave wanted to play drums with those guys (can you blame him?), Taylor did the vocals on Rock and Roll:

and here's Ramble On (with Dave on vocals and Taylor on drums):

What's truly sad is the continuing predilection of musicians becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol. It's become so normal that it's almost expected and assumed. One likes to think that, after a certain point, they would realize it can kill you and get over the hump. But that's the nature of addiction. There's no cure, you just have to keep doing the work to overcome it. The music industry needs to do more to combat it. They're certainly making enough money off of their talent to afford it. The list of artists who've died too young is well known and too long to ignore anymore.

Great nostalgic song playing in the background of Joe Bryan's interview with Chalobah in the video @jumpkutz shared from Fulham

Love Brian Johnson, but give me Bon Scott and his irreverent style. Scott would’ve been 76 today

While reading this great little piece on Palhinha at the HammyEnd, they mentioned a song sung by the supporters on Saturday:

    He comes from Lisbon
    We only paid 20 million
    We think he’s f****** brilliant
    Palhiiiiiiiiinnnnnhhaaaaa
They said it goes to the tune "She's Electric" by Oasis which I was not familiar with, so here it is:

Hopefully we'll have plenty of reasons on Saturday to sing this ditty at Molineux to rub in his signing, so now you'll be ready to join in.

I'm having trouble mating the tune with the lyric but, hey, whatever. If he shows out this season, who cares, right?

That's funny because I can't get it out of my head now! Literally singing it while brushing my teeth this morning.

I think the verse at 1:52 works best
    Sheeee's got a brother (Heee's from Lisbon)
We don't get on with one another (We only paid 20 million)
But I quite fancy her mother (We think he's fricking brilliant)
And I think that she likes me (Pal hiiii eeeen naaaah)

The Apple does not fall far from the tree. 16 year old Shane Hawkins shone at Wembley, in the tribute concert for his Dad.
