RFK - June 6, 1968

45 years ago today. The third assassination in the horror show of the sixties.

I appreciate RFK for exposing J Edgar Hoover, who was becoming a menace to freedom by compiling his political enemies lists.

Anyone who thinks they can make things better by taking out a person in power or influence ignores history and human events.

It never turns out well, from their own point of view.

I cant believe I didnt know until now that RFK was assassinated on this date - overshadowed perhaps by the fact that today is D day. Thanks and remembrance to those brave soldiers on that day. I simply cant imagine what it must have taken to storm those beaches - thanks and gratitude for what they did seems not enough.
