The season tips off for the Billikens tomorrow against Central Arkansas. Our best player got hurt in the 1st pre-season game and is done for the year, so it all falls on Yuri Collins. Likely a rough year for the Bills. I got a pair of tickets for the season so hopefully they prove me wrong.

Thanks for getting this one going Sir Brad. Here in the March Madness TV ratings capital of the country, the prognosis for the holy trinity, Kentucky, Louisville and Indiana, is less certain than normal…whatever constitutes normal in the present environment. The Cliff’s notes version goes like this: UK lost to Duke at Madison Square Garden on national TV. Not much to take from it, except that the Blue Devils are the better team right now and, despite the fact this isn’t a typical “one and done” John Calipari team, we won’t know how good they’ll be until they learn how to play defense at the D-1 college level. Louisville and Indiana beat teams at home that they should have. The Cardinals struggled a bit to subdue the SWAC’s Southern U. Jaguars by 12 with Asst. Coach Mike Pegues in charge while Chris Mack serves a six game suspension. Mike Woodson’s debut as the latest successor to the impossible to follow legacy of Bobby Knight was successful. The Hoosiers beat Eastern Michigan, as scripted. Of the Big 3 programs ninety percent plus of the college hoops fans around here support, only Kentucky is ranked in most preseason top 25’s.
It could be another disappointing season for Louisville and Indiana fans come Selection Sunday.
