Matches are coming fast and furious. Next up is the Swans. Right now they're 17th AND they're visiting, soooooo we should kick some ass on Wednesday. If we really are "the strongest team in the Championship," we need to destroy sides like Swansea.

We have little trouble attacking ... just scoring. We have little trouble defending ... which would be even less of a concern if we converted some of those attacks. Winning matches like these -- DECISIVELY -- are mandatory if we're going to return to the Prem.

The match will be on ESPN+ at 2:45pm EDT

Swansea are off to their worst start in the Championship in a very long time. They have an anemic offense with one of the lowest goal totals in the league. With the exception of a crazy 3-3 match with Luton, the Swans haven't scored more than one goal in any match. Despite those negatives, they have managed to get wins against Huddersfield and Fulham's last opponent, Bristol City - neither of which are relegation fodder. As Don said, Fulham will need to play like the better team that they are and put away their gosh darn chances! I think Fulham was a bit unlucky on Saturday with some of the shots not going in and the missed offside call, so I think Fulham gets a more "normal" match here and wins with a clean sheet.

The last 4 matches we've dominated the stats and dropped 8 of the possible 12 pts. Nothing but 3 points will do here.

I haven’t been able to watch much of our action since the international break but clearly something is out of whack compared to the results from the start of the season to that first break.
Any thoughts from those of you who have witnessed us since? Aside from the 4-1 win at Birmingham, we’ve seemed out of sorts this month.

What a difference a few days makes. Last match Mitro hit the woodwork twice and their keeper made a couple of worldies. Today, just a few inches total ... . That's what drives you nuts about this game.

I failed miserably at adding a hat trick gif here. Anyway, it was quite the half for Mitro. And say what you will about the first goal being offside. It was probably a bit of a make up call. Mitro would’ve buried the penalty had the ref done his job and called it when Wilson was chopped down early in the match. So hat trick either way.

I am a little upset at the goal allowed though and I’m not sure whom to blame. Tosin ineffectively stepped up and the Swansea player slipped right into the space he left. So… was he being too aggressive? Was Odoi or Ream supposed to fill the space?

All in all, a good result.

Swansea was generous enough to provide 9 minutes of highlights (7 of those are just in the first half):

I wasn't able to pay much attention to this live because of work. However when I checked in I thought I was seeing replays of the first goal, but Mitro had scored again! And then the same thing happened later! I wish we could have exchanged one of his three goals in this half for one in the Bristol City game, but it was nice to see him hit the target. Now we just need to get Decordova-Reid on target.

Bournemouth draws, Luton crushes Coventry, West Brom wins to go to the top, and Fulham is now in third.

Got to see the game on ESPN+ replay. Very nice first half, but could have used better connections in midfield. We left too much space between the lines. May not have gotten away with that against a better team.

Did not know Robinson got hurt yesterday. Now Bryan. Suddenly we’re backless on the left. Coventry is in two days, and Silva will need to find a solution. Odoi, with Christie on the right? Or a formation change with three CBs? It’ll be interesting.
