Cup action coming up. We should be solely focused on automatic promotion this season. That's why I hope we'll see a fully rotated team. Still, that's an opportunity for those players to make an argument for a bigger role. It will be good to give Rodak, S. Sess, Francois, Hector, Stansfield, and others some meaningful minutes. I'm most excited about the possibility of seeing Reed make a comeback--keeping fingers crossed for that.

Still no news on Ream, Carvalho, and Tete. That was some bad luck, but we have depth.

Would love to see projected starting lineups from people.

I know it's not a popular thing, but I think that winning is a habit and that the side I support should go out on the pitch every time expecting to win.

Except for the "multiple sides get a trophy" thing that Fulham was involved with 20 or 30 years back, Fulham have never NEVER won a cup. We had one FA cup final loss to West Ham and the Europa League final loss a few years back. I don't know about the FA Cup run, but I do remember clearly each time a Europa League tie came up, about 85% of Fulham supporters on the sites I followed wanted us to field sub-par 11s so as to concentrate on finishing 15th in the Premier League. This ended when we were down to eight clubs and our survival in the Prem was insured. Then it was all about that trophy.

So, yes, rest some folks, but go out there with a strong squad with the aim of beating the Brummies, and going as far as we possibly can in the League Cup. Hell, even Luton won the League cup ... by beating Arsenal in the final no less. I'd LOVE to see us at Wembley for something other than promotion playoffs.

Yeah, get off HD's lawn!!!!! I'm always hopeful that a cup run is in the works - the Europa League adventure is the most fun I've had supporting the club. Get off my lawn too!

Winning begats winning, begats winning, begats winning….
I hope we make a deep run in this or one of the other cup comps so we can get more guys playing time.

Also glad to see Robinson get a late goal. He’s played better since what can only be described as an uneven performance in the season opener. People forget, sometimes, that some of these players are really young. Antonee is only 24, and is still maturing as a player at this level. Scoring can only boost his confidence, a critical attribute for any youngster.

I didn't see the game. Glad Stansfield got a chance. We'll need him at some point. It's a long season.

Very encouraging to hear of a good performance despite an almost fully rotated starting 11.

One footnote to this match - Fulham will host Leeds in the next round of the Carabao Cup sometime in late September.
