Fulham's second home game of the season will be against Hull on Saturday at Noon EDT(edit: it is actually at 10am). The game will only be available on FFCTV.

Hull beat bottom of the table Preston 4-1 in their opener, but haven't scored a goal since losing to QPR and giving struggling Derby their first win of the season yesterday. Meanwhile West Brom's throttling of the aforementioned Preston allowed them to take the top spot in the league over Fulham.

Fulham has a couple of injury questions coming into this match. Onomah picked up what is hopefully only a slight injury in the last match, but I wouldn't be surprised if he sits this one out. Reed, while still recovering, hasn't yet made it back on the roster. Kongolo is supposed to be getting closer to a return as well. Knockaert has also been out and Cairney of course remains a long term concern. On top of that Wilson continues his three-match red-card ban. Fortunately other players have stepped up nicely. Seri and Kebano looked good against Millwall while Mitrovic and Carvalho appear ready to both compete for the golden boot.

I may be just used to watching Parker-ball the past couple seasons, but the pace on Tuesday felt frantic (yet thrilling to watch). My one concern is that with fewer subs to call on the guys might be tired with their third match in 8 days. Despite that, I still expect Fulham to get a comfortable win against a Hull squad that does not look ready to compete outside the lower levels of the league.

Yes MicahMan, there is much more urgency and activity with the team going forward this season. And it is a little shocking to see it, as opposed to the sideways passing of recent seasons.

I also think a third win is in the cards tomorrow. I’m also thinking that a few players get rotated out - or at least become early subs.

Agreed. I'd expect Bobby to get a start. I would also not be surprised to see Francois, Anguissa and Bryan in the 11. Carvalho may need a break.

I just realized I said the match would be at Noon EDT, but that is wrong! It is at 10am EDT. Where's my editor?! I need to talk to them about their shoddy work.

I was wrong. No rotation in the team. Silva is going with the same 11 as last time. I am going to shell out £10 again. I may be better off just getting the season pass.

Tim’s fall looked bad. Hope it doesn’t keep him out long. I had a similar fall many years ago in college, and it kept me out from practice several weeks and longer from playing.

Good effort so far. At halftime, two goals up, two starters down. I didn’t see what happened to Tete—he might have slammed into the ad boards on a cross—but I hope it’s not too bad. Christie and Odoi are good players, but represent significant drop off. I haven’t seen S. Sess play in ages—no idea how he’s developed. Could Joe Bryan play on the right? Two enforced changes before halftime mean we have no personnel wiggle room. I was hoping to see Stansfield, but it may have to wait.

Crap. Carvalho forced off with injury on 70 minutes. Anguissa on. Looks like it may not be too bad. If he’s back in a week or two, that could be a well-disguised blessing since the transfer window will close by then.

Didn't see the match, but I was glad to read about the win. Fingers crossed these injuries aren't serious.

Tell ya’ what. That Carvalho kid is a FINISHER! We won’t have him for very long. But we’ve got him now. And, as others have noted, it certainly appears that Silva has unlocked the chains on players that seemed flat and uninterested under Parker. We’re winning, and it’s fun to watch. Let’s hope it keeps going for awhile, eh?

Really good 9 minutes of highlights from Hull City:

If you watched the Hull highlights, then there is nothing new in these highlights from Fulham:

Thanks Hull for making an effort on those highlights. Every club should have a media department like Hull.

Time for one more correction from me. I said in the original post on this thread that West Brom beat Preston - that was wrong it was Sheffield United. The Blades lost again yesterday giving Jokanovic just one point in the first four matches.

Thanks to the one goal Blackburn scored against West Brom, Fulham was able to regain the top spot based on goal differential. Fulham, West Brom, and Stoke all have 10 points. This sets up an interesting early season clash between Fulham and Stoke this Saturday.

When Silva gave his post match press conference he seemed most concerned about the injury to Tete. He was least concerned about Ream although he was trying to take a wait-and-see attitude about all of them including Carvalho. With the injuries and the game against Stoke upcoming, I will not object if a "B" team is sent out against Birmingham in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

And thanks @daddude7 for your updates during the match to fill in some of the pieces that we weren't getting over the feeds.

While I'm thrilled with our start, I'm reminded that for years the English papers waited until after the 6th weekend to post league tables. Mind you, this was because of the incomprehensible "goal average" that separated sides tied on points. I never figured out the math [and remember Luton getting relegated on goal average when they would have stayed up on goal difference], but it made me hesitent to get too positive or negative after streaky starts.

Don - gonna enjoy the optimistic ride as long as I can! 8.7% of games played, 11.1% of needed (predicted) point earned! Keep it going!
