I'm not certain what motivated this missive from our chairman, but I suspect it has something to do with season ticket renewal time. This is the first communication from Mr. Khan that doesn't sit very well with me. It appears to be a feeble attempt to ensure and, perhaps, increase one of the club's stock revenue streams. While I understand that season ticket sales are an important facet of a team's overall health and well-being, this seems trite, shortsighted and poorly thought out. If you're going to use this infrequent method of connecting with your supporters, you can't aim it at such a small, albeit important, chunk of them. It needs to address all of the 30,000 plus at Wembley on that glorious day in 2018, and all of the rest that couldn't be there, but wanted to be.
    Disappointing.

It's poor, I agree. I don't think SK cares all that much about the club, certainly not as much as we would like, and letting TK run the club is something only a father would do. I hope they are considering selling the club as their hearts don't appear to be in it anymore.

I give them credit for keeping us competitive in the Championship, as well as getting us relegated three times from the Prem and for the renovation of the cottage, but I think they've "...lost that loving feelin'.. "

Spot on fellas. Sadly, Tony cares far more (at least that’s what his Twitter account suggests) about pro wrestling then a job that requires living near the club (not in Florida)and working vast amount of hours.

SK doesn’t seem like the selling kind, just wish he’d view the job evaluation of the Director of Football as though the person wasn’t his kid, because he would’ve sacked him already for sure.

Well, if I didn't really care all that much about an English football club, I'd hardly spend megabucks on ground improvement and expansion.

    Just saying

It's hard to figure out. On the one hand, Shad has invested heavily in the future of the club with the replacement of the Riverside Stand. On the other hand, he allows his son to run it like a rotoworld fantasy league team, up to and including pushing it aside in favor of his wrestling and other business pursuits. We may continue to bounce back and forth between the Prem and the Championship for awhile, but at least we'll still have that new stand when they're gone. Still doesn't explain or justify the chairman's ill advised and narrowly focused "message."

HD, unless you think the investment will provide returns that exceed what you spent on the improvements.

Unlikely it will and I have no idea what the valuations are on premier clubs at the moment but your point is well taken and I am probably just being hopeful rather than realistic. Frankly, I'd rather he fire his son than sell the team based on his past attempts to improve the club.

I just look at what he's done with the Jags and all the talk about m0ving them to London and the product he has put on the field there and it really has not been all that great, sans one season.

Hard to know what he really wants.

The Jags. Still trying to figure out how they made it to the AFC Championship game in 2017. The Khans’ stewardship of that franchise makes their ownership of Fulham look like Robert Kraft’s New England Patriots.

Only two matches today: Hungary and Portugal at noon, followed by a biggie, France and Germany at 3:00. The first one’s in Budapest, the second at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

I agree the Jags have been wretched but don’t forget the did bring in Tom Coughlin who most thought was a home run hire but turned out to be more like Mighty Casey. I do think they’re trying but we know were paving with good intentions leads.
