So in Tuchel's four matches, Pulisic has come off the bench in the first three and was not even on the team sheet today. Anyone have any insight or thoughts? I know Tuchel gave Pulisic his debut at Dortmund, but this doesn't seem to bode well for our boy from Hershey.

It was a good day for Americans in Europe with at least three getting rated as the player of the match according to Fotmob (https://www.fotmob.com/). Brenden Aaronson at Salzburg, Josh Sargent at Werder Bremen, and Fulham alumnus Luca de la Torre at Heracles all scored goals with Aaronson adding an assist.

Yes! I forgot I had seen that yesterday. The youngster seems to be making quite an impact.

You have to have a manager that believes. The Werder Bremen gaffer has believed and let Sargent grow. Meanwhile, the Undead’s Tuchel has zero faith in Pulisic and plays him in the wrong position when he does get on for a few paltry minutes (came on in the 90th today, smh)

This was my concern regarding Pulisic when I posted a month ago. Tuchel had made a statement then regarding his knowledge of what Pulisic can do off the bench and I got the feeling that meant that he wasn't going to start Pulisic. It seems that he is still sticking with that same mentality. Of course, not a single non-American Chelsea fan is concerned with Pulisic though since Chelsea hasn't lost with Tuchel in charge yet.

I've been doubtful concerning Pulisic's "injury" causing Teuchel to pull him off at half time in The Scum's last league match. When the second half started, Pulisic was racing onto the pitch when the Gaffer grabbed him and suprised his teammate by sending him on. Evidently there was no indication in his play during the first 45 that he wasn't 100%. Hell, the guy scored their only goal.

My doubts have been confirmed. In their Champions League match, the "injury prone" American came on at half-time at full speed and played very well.

Here's what I made out of this: Tuechel pulled him at 45 because he was concerned that Christian played a lot during the international break. The fact that Chelsea sucked during the last 45 meant that he had to have a good reason for pulling his goalscorer off. Thus the invented injury.

For some reason, Chelsea's gaffer still sees Pulisic as the 17-year-old off the bench impact sub he was at Dortmund. As for Chelsea ... fuck'em!

Pulisic had a brace yesterday (the first goal was top notch) and had a sick back heel flick saved.

That back heel flick was pretty sweet! The brace doesn’t tell the whole story. Pulisic was a significant threat all day.

you know, he is the perfect 2nd tier striker in England -- fast, strong, fearless; It would be interesting to see what he could do against sophisticated defenses. I REALLY enjoy watching him play.

He's only 20 years old, playing in his second professional season. He has so much time to get even better. I really hope he gets that chance to challenge himself against better teams and better defenses.

1st American to score in a CL Semi, and should’ve had an assist when he put a header on a plate for Werner, who hit it straight at the GK, 1-1 Final. A blowout loss and the Undead focus on our match to keep a Top 4 spot, I would have to imagine they will rest a bunch of starters (including Christian) this Sat. with a shot at the Final next week.
