Reliving an old, fond memory

I stumbled across this article about Dempsey's retirement and a discussion about him and the "chip". Brought back some fantastic memories. Attached is the scarf I bought before the game, one of my most prized sports possessions, taken on a bench at the Golden Lion a couple hours prior to the match (returned after the match for celebratory pints!). Still get chills watching the replay. God I hope we get back to those days...

Still doing some spring cleaning in the fall around here. I came across an old newspaper I got the day after the Juve game related to the link above. Pics attached.
