El Trafico (playoff style) resumes tonight. Big brother has the whammy on the upstart, but Bradley has worked his magic for the league’s best team. Tix starting at $150 for worst seat in the house, going to be a raucous atmosphere. Unfortunately, doesn’t start until 7:30 PST, so if you’re a night owl back east, it’ll be a good one.

Edit: 5-3 to give LAFC its first ever win over the Galaxy. It was a wild one, that had everything (except defense). Bob Bradley’s postmatch interview gave insight to what makes him so successful. He has his players backs and they know it.

The goal that LAFC scored in the midst of smoke from flares was simultaneously eerily beautiful and unfairly awkward (edit - the keeper could see, just not me!). That stadium sounded and looked amped from the kickoff. These playoffs (no Quakes...again), I've only watched portions of Seattle v. Dallas and El Trafico, but it was very entertaining.

LAFC, except for a slight late season swoon, have been the best team in the league this year. Although that means exactly nada in the post season, I like them, and I hope they win the MLS Cup.
*Full disclosure: I'm also a fan of theirs because of former Louisville City FC and Canadian international midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye. Although he's currently out with a hamstring injury he suffered during Canada's first ever win over the USMNT, he's been training and is expected to be back before the playoffs are over.

LAFC bomb forward and Seattle has the discipline and talent (helped also that ref needed to see body parts on the pitch before blowing the whistle) to counter and make them pay. Throughly deserved win for the Sounders.

Kinda bummed about LAFC, but the final should be a good one. Don’t have a fav, but I will be watching and hoping for a good TV rating.

Sellout in Seattle (just shy of 70K, and that stadium has loudest acoustics I’ve ever been in). Wish it wasn’t on the turf, but no choice in Pacific Northwest. For a league that tries to have everyone on equal footing, it’s kind of telling that good organizations matter since this will be 3 out of 4 years these two clubs meet in the Final.
