Haven't kept up with this very well this season, but it seems to be a pretty commonly held opinion that some of the top GK's have had less than stellar campaigns, chief among them Joe Hart and our own Timmy H.

The best one game performance I saw was Tim Krul's vs. somebody (the opponent and competition escapes me at the moment). Don't think he's had that great a season, however, given Newcastle's sudden relegation fight. Noticed DeGea was named to the PFA team, but he seems to be average, at best. My boy at Swansea, Michel Vorm, hasn't been as good as he was during their first year in the Prem last season.

    Who do ya'll like?

Both Timmy and Hart have had poor seasons by their very high standards. DeGea is much improved, but -- and it pains me to say it -- the best keeper in the league this season is probably Cech.

He's not who I like, though.

I was thinking the same thing, Mr. H. Cech has been pretty consistent this season. Probably one of the main reasons they've been able to overcome all the drama, stay in the top 4 and, possibly, win the Europa League. Very discouraging. Damn dog trackers....

Have to admit also that Cech appears to have come all the way back from that horrific injury. Hard position to assess since I rarely watch the WBA's, Stoke's, of the Prem so I could be missing out on some great seasons, but Guzan's keeping along w/Benteke's goals have been dragging Villa to safety. Brad still needs to work on dealing with crosses better, but his fitness, reaction time, toughness, and leadership has improved by leaps and bounds.

ManUre has been linked with Stoke's Begovic, so I assume he's having a decent season, otherwise, why bother? Wish I could remember who the Magpies were playing when Krul went crazy. He made some stops I've never seen him make before or since.
