The offal had an interview with Piazon's father and sister last season and they raved about how much he was enjoying his time at Fulham. Good to see him back. Maybe we can make it permanent. The scum don't need him.

Oliver Norwood has joined Fulham from Brighton and Hove on a season long loan. He started just 16 matches for Brighton last season after starting more regularly for Reading and Huddersfield. He wasn't a regular starter for them in the Championship so it was pretty clear he wasn't going to feature much in the Premier League. Reading and Huddersfield didn't really shine when he was part of their teams, so I'm not bubbling with excitement over this signing. I'm taking a wait and see approach.

Just 10 days to go until we face Norwich and still no striker - unless Don has finally gotten Jokanovic's ear regarding Woodrow.

I keep reading that Norwood is a central midfielder. Assuming he's a depth option behind (at least) Cairney, Stef-Jo, and McDonald. The squad does lack depth across the board, so this might be a smart deal at a low price. Have to wonder if it's another Khan statistical signing.

Feeling better about our defense, but would like to see a LB as well. Add a reliable striker and I think we will have improved the squad compared to last season.

 

Mad props to the club for getting Kalas AND Piazon, by hook, crook or loan, from scum. Call me crazy, but I still believe happy players play BETTER. I'm old fashioned about such things. But that's just great work by the office to take care of business and getting it done.
