PNE sit two places below us in the table but only one point behind due to goal difference. They have Jermaine Beckford. We must stop him and prevent some other latent talent busting out and having a career match against us. Gotta hold serve at home for the rest of the season. Wins, not draws.

Wins at home are starting to feel like a must if Fulham are to grab a top 6 spot this season.

These are the sort of games that if we lose, start to really define our season as we are expected to beat them if we have any chance to be in the top 6.

PNE are having another surprise season and we shouldn't underestimate them but surely this is ours for the taking.

On twitter the other day, I saw that PNE's sponsors were going to provide bowlers for the travelling fans. Their calling it "Gentry Day". Has anyone else seen that or know if its true?

    Yes.

It's pretty cool, actually. Supporters wear suits and bowlers in memory of supporters who have passed away in the previous year.

Leeds (on Friday), Reading, and Wednesday all win, so our victory means we hang in the chase 4 points back. We separate from the remaining chasers by beating Preston and Norwich getting crushed 5-1 by Wednesday.

still got that match in hand. If the Barcodes beat Huddersfield, we might actually gain points on somebody we can catch this weekend.

Quick turnaround to a huge showdown with Leeds on Tues. Enjoyed seeing the highlights (thanks for posting fellas), and one thing is fairly obvious..Chris Martin will need to contribute in order for Fulham to finish in the Top 6. I like he hasn't done the Bobby Zamora finger shhh after scoring, but has done an acknowledgement of the teammate who has set him up on the times he's scored since the messy situation he, his agent, and the scumbags (Steve McClaren, etc.) at Derby created in Jan.

Another takin' care of business win. You're right about Martin, Joe. We need him, and he's gotta show up. Still too nervous at the back for me. Button's clearing technique is clearly wanting, and Sessegnon seems to be a liability defensively, a la Dembele last season, except Ryan is a DEFENDER. Not sure Ream and Kalas can cover for him for the reamainder of the season, but he's too good not to put out there. Glad to see us continue upward trend after the schooling by Spuds and Kane, who's en fuego since. We still need a little help, but I think we gotta put blinkers on and keep taking care of our business first. If we keep playing like this and improving, let the chips fall where they may. BTW, the Championship Final is May 29th at Wembley.

@MicahMan and @jumpkutz thanks for the background on the bowlers. Very cool tradtion. To be honest though, given Fulham's reputation as a "posh" club, I had a completely different idea of what these fans were up to!
