It's official - I've left Colorado and taken a job at my alma mater, Coastal Carolina University. I've always been an east coast guy and, to be completely honest, it's hard to be an oceanographer in CO... even harder when you're married to another.

I'll miss the Rockies, Mountain time, and the near constant sunshine but I'm super excited to get back to the water, fresh seafood, and working on boats.

If you're ever in the Myrtle Beach area, let me know.
