What are everyone's plans/traditions for what is a national holiday (isn't it time they move the game to Saturday? More people call in 'sick' tomorrow than any other day of the year). My better half's beloved Steelers got smoked by the Patriots, which at least meant we didn't have to host. Taking her turkey meatballs and rolo pretzels (the easiest to make and one of the tastiest morsels known to mankind, recipes found on a bag of rolos). Lady Gaga at the half, commercials throughout, and rooting for the Falcons all the while knowing the Pats will win.

I'm staying home to keep alive my streak of watching every Super Bowl. And I'll probably flip to the Puppy Bowl during commercials. :)

Hanging out with the missus. She's a tax pro and it's rather nice having entire Sunday with her for a change. As for the game, the results are already in: Atlanta gets the honor of being the last NFL team to lose to New England.

Commercials will be of interest, and it's great to see President GHW Bush and his first lady on the pitch before the game.

No plans... too old for that. Did start recording just prior to halftime so I'd have it if anything momentous. Well, there was, of course but I dont need to see it again.

Watched most of Gaga's performance .. good as always. Nothing earthshaking.
Someday NFL production will shake things up and do one with just music and NO SPECTACLE.

Aint it the way it goes?! I was elated at the probability of seeing tthe Pats deflated.. and they couldnt call it a fluke cuz Falcons are just that good! Then I remembered.. it's not the Cowboys or Niners, it's the Pats.
Ah, well... if I was a conspiracy freak I would call fix.. but No... it's just Belichek and Brady.

The burgers were good. Atlanta was good until they forgot how to play smart football. You don't leave a cracked door open for guys like Belichik and Brady. Thought Gaga was very good, but I kind of lost track of the music somewhere in all the razzle dazzle. Was really hoping Joe or Troy would remind us one more time that the Browns cut Taylor Gabriel. The commercials? Meh. Had hopes for the one that started with Christopher Walken, but it faded quickly, then Timberlake killed it. The best spot I saw was this LOCAL ad by a lawyer. Probably because of the horse.
