I clicked on the link to send a comment to the Club, here's what I sent:

As a supporter abroad, this latest change makes the already difficult task of following the club almost impossible. Listening to Gentleman Jim’s commentary, usually through the app, is our ONLY option here in the states. I understand the licensing issues placed on the club by the Football League, but does that really extend beyond the UK?

For several year’s now, I’ve been fortunate enough to get to 2 - 4 matches a year. Back in the Premier League days, I would always sign up as a member at the beginning of the season - there was even a special "international" member category at the time. We'd get a nice glossy magazine every three months or so and a scarf or something. Very nice, even though I was joining to get access to tickets. The International member category disappeared a few years ago, and since the drop, it hasn't been necessary to be a member in order to get tickets. Yet, I've joined every year, including this one.

Would the club consider bringing back the International Member scheme? One that would include live match commentary? For the fans abroad, this would be one way to help us stay connected to the club. The "Fulhamerica" days may be gone, but there are still thousands of us that have always supported the club, not just a few players.

If the Football League is arguing that their licensing extends beyond the UK, it's hard to say how short sighted that is. The market here in the US is growing quickly for the game. I can see every premier league match, live, on TV, for nothing. I can watch 4 or 5 La Liga matches a week, and about the same number of Bundesliga matches - all on free TV. Even the ratings for MLS are growing, the competition is tough. Forcing clubs to charge just for an internet audio broadcast widens a gulf between the club and its fans abroad that's already as large as an ocean.

    Thanks and COYW!

Will let you know if I get a response.

Anybody able to report on how the stream worked this weekend?
I just spent 1000 bucks to get ready to travel to the cottage in January, doesn't really make sense for me to not cough up the extra $25 so I can listen and replay the matches for the remainder of the season.

    What else can ya do?

Maybe you need to pay a fee to help cover the Customer Service department's expenses in order to get a response.
